The Windeck boards are primarily used for surfing the wind. They will sink in water, but can also be used in water with the leash attached. Because they are not designed for water they may wear out prematurely if used in water a lot.

The surfboard comes with a small Velcro strap. You just wrap it around your finger to keep the board from getting lost.
